If you've been in the online coaching world for anytime you've heard that you need to have a niche to get clients, but do you understand why you need to have a clear niche?

If you are serious about your business and want to attract a lot of ideal clients then you must niche. Here's the thing you most likely will have many niches in your time as a business owner, because  things are always changing, you are changing, your niche is changing the world is changing so when you have a business you need to change with it so you can stay relevant. Niching is not a one and done thing like it used to be.

You won't stand out.

You will stand out and your ideal clients will find you easily.

You can't charge more.

You can charge more because you are a specialist.

It is hard to scale.

It is easier to scale your business, because you are only marketing to one type of person.  You can easily market in more places.

You have to have a big audience.

You don't need a large audience if your marketing and message are targeted to a specific person and problem.

You don't know what content to create.

Your content creation is simple and consistent because it is based on what you know that your clients want and need.

You will be spread too thin.

If you know your clients' problems better than they do, you can quickly help them and you will make a bigger impact in their lives.

It is hard to get traction.

You gain momentum by stopping the niche hopping and focusing on your prospects pains and problems.

Your prospects don't trust you.

You can become the go to expert and people refer others to you because they know you can help them.

You don't get many testimonials.

You are a specialist, you get your clients the results they want.

You CANNOT help everyone.

If 1 in a million people are in your niche you have 7700 or more potential clients. There are more than enough clients for every niche.

Your niche is that *magical* combination of the people you serve, the important problem you help them solve and your special branded system.

These three elements must work together in harmony, else you'll struggle with getting clients or stall-out trying to move your business to the next level.
